Nothing to fix
A life to create.
Career, beauty, healing and the pursuit of happily ever after.
I’m Lauren Elias. For over 20 years, I helped build some of beauty’s biggest household names, rising from intern to CEO. My life looked impressive from the outside. Yet I always felt something was wrong with me and spent 30 years trying to “fix” myself.
Now I’m giving that ambition a new job: creating a life that feels as good as it looks and sharing what I learn along the way.

What happens when you’ve spent years healing and still feel stuck?
Lauren shares how a medically supervised ibogaine experience revealed a blind spot familiar to many high performers: the same drive that builds extraordinary lives can keep us in an endless cycle of self-improvement.
In this Wisdom Circle, she explores the experience, the emotional and physiological shifts that followed, and a practical framework for creating meaningful change. The session includes Q&A.
THREE THINGS TO TAKE AWAY
The blind spot that keeps high performers stuck in healing loops.
What a medically supervised ibogaine experience was really like, how it differed from other modalities, and what it did not do.
The integration plan that turned one experience into lasting change, and how to build your own
Lauren shares her personal experience. This is not medical advice. Ibogaine carries serious medical risks and should only be considered under qualified medical supervision.
ABOUT LAUREN
Twenty years building brands. Thirty trying to fix myself.
Lauren Elias is a CEO and former Division I athlete who has spent more than 20 years building global beauty brands, including L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, LVMH, and KORA Organics. Her life looked impressive but never felt like the happily ever after she had worked so hard to earn.
Privately, Lauren navigated anxiety, depression, addiction, and chronic pain, turning the same drive that fueled her career inward to "fix" herself, believing she was broken. She tried more than 50 healing modalities but still felt stuck. Then a medically supervised ibogaine program interrupted a pattern that three decades of healing left untouched and revealed the blind spot that changed everything.
Today, Lauren writes and speaks about what becomes possible when high performers stop using their drive to fix the pain of the past and start using it to build a future that feels as good as it looks.
“The thing that makes CEOs and high achievers so successful can be the exact thing that gets them stuck in an endless cycle of self improvement.”
Impressive. Just not the life she wanted. The search to fix herself was what kept her from building the spectacular one.
